Day 12 - Breaching a Dam
- Proverbs 16:3 (NIV)
- Proverbs 16:6 (NIV)
- Proverbs 16:25 (NIV)
- Proverbs 16:32 (NIV)
- Proverbs 17:14 (NIV)
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the Lord evil is avoided. There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death. Better a patient person than a warrior, those with self-control than those who take a city. (Proverbs 16:3, 6, 25, 32 TNIV)
If you come to Jesus, your life is planed out, nothing to worry about it.
Through the fear of Lord evil is avoided! Through fearing the Lord, not only do you gain wisdom, but it keeps you from sin! This is truly amazing!!
In life there is always the right way and the wrong way but there is God's way that always leads to him.
Starting a quarrel is like breaching a dam; so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out. (Proverbs 17:14 TNIV)
Solomon always has a way of explaining everything.
