1. Did Samuel know Hannah was his mother and did she, during her annual visits, counsel him in the ways of the priesthood and life in general?

2. What the conversations between Samuel and Hannah must have been like each year when she would bring him the new robe she'd sewn for him (when she and her husband, Elkanah visited the temple in Shiloh to offer their annual sacrifice).

3. Since Eli knew his son's were wicked and were deemed awful in God's sight, did Eli feel redeemed somehow by mentoring to the righteous Samuel?

4. What was the relationship between Eli's two sons and Samuel?
