What's missing
Every one likes to quote this verse about not getting angry or listening. There's also the prophetic people who quote it to those who talk to much. However you don't hear people preaching that all three may tie into one other. Obviously being quick to hear would make you slow to speak but how does speaking tie into anger. Read James 3. But just think about it for a minute. Our culture and sinful nature had made us children with a response. If we were quick to listen we might just get the other side of the story and avoid the anger issue all together. I love the Word of God and the richness there in it!
