We are helpless unless we are in Him
 1) Because we are DEAD as a result of our sin
 - Our hearts are like stones, dead
 - Holy Spirit makes us alive
 - He gives us ability to do great things for Him
 - We should live like people who have experienced the reserrurection
 - Romans 6:12 & 23
 2) Because we are REBELLIOUS as a result of our sin
 - Jesus runs after the rebellious
 - We were totally dead in sin and chasing prince of darkness, yet Jesus CHASES us!
3) We are DEPRAVED as a result of our sin
 - we are totally depraved apart from Him
 - we cannot earn favor with God. We are dead and depraved w/o Him
 - God gives us Grace. We can't earn it
Imagine realizing who Jesus is, what's He did for us, and the LIVING LIKE IT!!!!
