Do not Tattoo yourself
Hmmm, when I enquired about this from others for counsel before I got my tattoo, I was told you were not to mark your body for the dead. I was told the Bible doesn't really say not to get a tattoo...it was more like just be vigilant of what you get and where you get it! It seems pretty clear to me from every translation that I have read, that you should not mark up or tattoo your body. I will be getting mine removed at some point and I have already repented. Interesting to me that my kids were so sad when I got my tattoo, as if I had grieved the Holy Spirit. I felt down about it too, but I thought it was just because society doesn't seem to get all excited about it! Interesting almost like I knew all along not to get one and the kids knew too. I just ignored it.
