Power of words!

There is nothing more powerful then your words. According to scripture they come from the heart.

They can either enrich your life and those around you or they can sting and hurt others.

Today, the words we speak is all about having the faith to believe what in what you say.

When I look at today's verse, it all fits together with what I have just gone through.

Another day in the hospital as they repaired my heart and added another stint.

Before I went in, I spoke words of basic defeat. "If everything goes right", what I should of done was turn to the Lord and asked to heal me, because it was by your stripes, the beating you took before being nailed to the cross that I am heal, yet I did not.

What does this reveal about me? My faith is weak. The last time I placed a note up it was about faith, faith to move mountains, yet I didn't think much of it as I laid in operating room.

But I can tell you this, I was frighten, frighten about the outcome and without any knowledge at the time of the procedure, I found out later that I was right about my fear I was feeling.

I prayed to God and ask for Him to forgive me of any wrong doing, because as flawed person, I knew I needed to confess. In fact we all do and I mean each and ever day, even if we don't realize it, we possible did sin, maybe not action, but by our own words.

Whoops, off my subject again. Today in my text is what I am seeking as we read; "Heal me O Lord, and I will be healed..."

With that in mind, no comes the real challenge, believing what i spoke, the test of faith. Yes that is right, I speak these words and yes it seems so simple does it not? But listen, and listen good because now the thought of doubt can enter in.

Do you think that the enemy will sit back and aloud me to believe that I am healed? Of course not, and thing positive that comes from God, will be challenge by Satan.

This is where I, and all of us, must take a stand just as Jesus did in the wilderness after being baptize.

He knew He would be challenged and He was up to the challenge. Why? Because He knew His Father word! He proclaimed and counter every attack the devil threw at Him.

He is our mentor in showing how powerful the spoken word is and how strong His faith is.

Yeah, I know He is God, in human form and we are not. Right you are, but He was not only sent to paid the price of our sin, but to mentor and teach us so we could be strong.

Yes there is power in our words, if you asked to heal or prayed then believe. When doubt enter in, quote the scriptures "By His stripes you are heal" or all the others that Jesus taught us and keep quoting and don't stop.

As I closed, there is so much more regarding the power of our words, today I wanted to touch on healing!

Look and study some of the examples given to us in His word, the women who had a blood issue for all of her life, just said to her self, if I can just touch the rim of His garment, then I will be healed and she was healed, the centurion who asked Jesus to heal his servant, but said to the Lord just speak the word and I believe it will be done, and it was.

Yeah, there are many more examples and these examples are left for to strengthen our faith in Him.

So stay encourage and speak the word if you are ill or any other thing you asked for. As my text says; "Heal me O Lord, and I will be healed; Saved me and I will be saved, For You are my praise."

How true are these words and it is my confession tonight because the Lord is my healer and my refuge. There is no other place to then under His arm.

It is all about believing what you spoke. It is all about mountain moving faith as you claim it and praise for whatever need you have.

There is power in your words when you come to the Lord and confess your needs and believe He will do it for you.

Amen
