Unforgiveness affects the anointing in our lives

Rom 12:18-20

I'm only responsible for how I behave.
I only have to give an account to God for ourselves

He saved us because He wants to use us for a purpose.

Ps 1:33
Where there's unity there's anointing & blessing
Protect your unityin your family, in your workplace, in your church.

We cannot do without the anointing of the Holy Spirit. It teaches you, it equips you, it empowers you.

Anything we can do is a gift from God and it comes from the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Protect the anointing in your life. Keep the strife out of your life. You cannot minister except out of a foundation of peace.

Know what's important to God
What's important to God is that we genuinely love each other.

Reasons we might not forgive;
1) it's hard
We are anointed for "hard", we don't need the Holy Spirit to help us do the easy things.

2) it's not fair

It's so easy to justify a wrong spirit.

The Bible says we are to cover one another in love.

The first thing that God does is forgive us
Everything that you will do that is not right is already forgiven.

This may be something that you may have to do for other people. Especially those closest to you that you rub shoulders with the most.
Eg. Your husband, your kids

Make a decision:
"I will not be angry"
"I will not be bitter"

Go beyond what you feel, which may be painful, and do what God tells you to do

What does God tell us to do?
1) Pray for your enemies, bless them and not curse them (stop talking about it)

2) Be good to them v20
Burning coals = love we heap on them
Overcome evil with good

God is a God of justice, vengeance is His. He is capable if dealing weigh your enemies however and whenever he decides.

The devil is overcome when you do something good in return for evil.
