Not my effort but His
Why is it that is so normal for us to think that being obedient to God will give us His favor, but to His that is complete none sense?
We are not a third party creation. We were created by God. When I write songs they don't need to do anything to receive my favor, they already do have my favor because I created them. They are my joy, and reliability. And so we are for God.
