"Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land."
God has shown mercy so many times after promising to destroy a people or land for wickedness ... when they fall down in repentance & worship. It is quite predictable what our country's future will hold on its current path.
