No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.
Can u imagine a soldier that's in battle suddenly getting mesmerized by a butterfly; it would be weird because he's in a BATTLE. you would look at him like (o.O) because he's choosing to ignore something so BIG. Just picture bombs going off people dying people dying calling out for help and you see this guy just standing there with a butterfly and you're thinking "what the heck are you doing" well that's how it is with us and the world tho we are in the world we are not of it.... We're in a battle not with the world but with satin and to many times we get mesmerized by whats in the world i.e. the butterfly instead of focusing on why were here THE WAR! it might seem stupid to have a guy focus on a butterfly during the war but sometimes that's how we look. We are soldiers of christ and were here to please our sargent so don't get caught up in the world cause the enemy is looking for you to be distracted so that he could attack you at your weakest. focus your eyes on christ
