Complaining to God

"I am sick of life! And from my deep despair, I complain to you,my God..."

Been here done this!!! Not quite as elegantly, but definitely complaining. When things get to be a little much for me, I put on my whining cap and give it a go. Or when I get mad, I let off some steam - usually by yelling or slamming doors. Why? I could say it's because I am human and I might be partially right. But I would need to say that I am human and I don't think the way God does. That would be true as well. God doesn't do things the way I would and my complaining is really just my way of telling him that I didn't like his way at all.
What arrogance right? Now take a long look in your mirror and tell me you are different. Yeah you may not slam doors and you may not yell, but you do something. And what do we have in common? We are looking at a situation through our physical eyes. God gives us eyes to see thru our faith that will give us a new perspective. Does that mean we should never complain - I think that it's honest communication with God. And when I am complaining to God, it is then, that I get to hear God's answers that give me that new perspective. Does he explain? No- and I know he doesn't have to, but he does give me peace and comfort that regardless of the situation, he has heard me, and he has comforted me, and reminded me that He is God and he has it covered.
