- Psalms 34:18 (NLT)

God does not allow pain without a purpose!
Seek comfort from the Lord through physical or emotional pain!
John 14: 27
Peace I give you, do not be troubled
Psalm 34: 18
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
Though we cannot escape trouble/pain, we can take comfort in the fact that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted. He is meant to be our source of strength and comfort through the pain.
HOPE:
There is much growth that occurs upon the bed of pain!
Out of the deepest pain comes the strongest conviction of the presence of God!
God never wastes pain! He wouldn't allow it without a purpose. He will use it for our good and his, helping to conform us more to the likeness of Jesus (Rom8: 28)
2cor1: 3-4
Praise be to God... father of compassion and the God of comfort, who comforts us in trouble, so that we can comfort those in trouble with the comfort we received from God.
Prayer- My Lord/My King, Thank you for comforting me today in my hour of need. I admit that I dId feel the sting of pain after receiving the call that mom was hospitalIzed again! Though the news knocked me down, I knew to run to you for comfort- I want to thank you for teaching me to do that!
I also realize that you often allow pain so that we may be more effective in our ministries with others who suffer (2cor1: 3-4).
I may not fully understand why you have allowed this pain to continue for my mom, nor do I need to know.. But, I do know thIs.. I will put my trust in you always!!. for I know the pain will not be in vain!
Thank you for drying the tears from my eyes and removing the knot in my throat today. It is written, ask and you shall receive... so I ask you but one thing.. please "find a way" to let my mom know that there is no need to fear, because you are near.
I usually pray in total thanksgiving for all that you have done for me, but today I have the one request... "may your loving presence be at my mother's side through her pain, fear and sadness. somehow show her that YOUR GRACE Is all she needs!" I ask all this in Jesus's Holy Name, Amen
