Fix Me!-Pastor Robinson
*When we think of soul, we think of soul music:
ex.: Anita Baker, Luther, Kem
*But David is talking about a mix of what makes us, us.
-The essence of who we are: our mind, our will, and our heart
*Our soul, our core can be shaken/shattered by circumstances of life and death.
-There our times in our own lives when life/death or even ourselves that we shake our core.
-Like when we know better, but still don't do better.
-Or even when we overindulge in things that are okay in moderation.
*But when our core has been shaken or we've been shaken at the core, our soul feels like Humpty Dumpty after the fall.
*But thank God, we have a Shepard. God restores our soul.
-God doesn't just put a band-aid on our soul, but he restores our soul and fix it!
-God is our Mr. Fix It, he does a redo on our lives: mind, will, & heart.
