Reward for following Jesus
Jesus tells his disciples about their reward for following him. In verse 29, he explaIns that all believers who have left their houses, theIr brother, their sister, theIr father, theIr mother, theIr children or theIr fields will be rewarded with 100 times more in this life, plus eternity with him in heaven.
Talk about the TRUTH beIng told! wow!
This is the hardest thing for us humans to do. Many hang on to money, their parents, their children, and anything of value in their lives. Believers that are goIng to heaven still struggle with this thing called "Letting Go". We all need to remember that hanging on to things of this life only hender us from receiving what God has for us here on Earth.
So let go of dreams for your life, and everything else!!.. so the Lord can replace those dreams u had, with the dreams he has for you!! You will praise him for helping you let go of things that you deem valuable, because the rewards are amazing!! And trust me when I confirm the written scripture that informs us his plans are wayyyy better than the plans we have for our lives.
Each tIme I let go of something valuable to me, I feel a breakthrough, helping me to get closer and closer to the Lord!!
The riches of his LOVE are 100 times more valuable, so letting go of things gets easier and easier!!!
Prayer- Lord Jesus, I'm in total thanksgiving for the desire you placed in my heart, many years ago. That small mustard seed has grown Into a huge beautIful tree, bearIng much fruIt, In order to glorIfy your name. Though my walk was not always fun, you have taught me so much about letting go. I am grateful for all It took to get me to where I am "In you" today!
