Hinderance to Growth physically and Spiritually

The enemy facing the church today, is dictatorship of routine.

Everything is organised within the prevailing conditions, and everyone follows this routine. Over and over again.

It becomes predictable, service is now becoming predictable.

What was determines what is, and what is determines what is to come.

The holy spirit is dynamic, not predictable. As you cannot determine what God will do next.

The people took 40yrs to reach a destination that should have taken them 40days. Due to routine and perambulation, and the comfortable norm that ppl wants to stay in.

It is when we work, that the glory of the latter shall be better for than the former.

We have dwelled in our comfortable mountain for too long. W need to move on, we need to change, we need to press forward.

We are saved to lead others to God. To preach the gospel, to spread the news,. Not to just enjoy our salvation, and revel in the glory. If you don't desire productivity or growth, you will not be productive, neither shall you grow.

Fear is another hindrance to moving forward. Generally, this is the unknown. Fear of the unknown.

We hold onto what we have, and what we know, and don't exercise our faith by holding on to God, and trusting in him to direct our path.

We have a tendency to live in the past. We tend to dwell on our failures, to wrap or shortcomings about ourselves and allow it to define our abilities and our achievements.

We glorify our past and keep looking back. Instead of working forward. We get stuck in what was. Most Christians want to go back and live where God was. Not knowing that God has already left.

Maintaining the same attitude that caused us to fail before. This is a hinderance to our growth in the spirit.

We need to wake up, for we have dealt in this mountain, in this status quo too long.
