The Joy of Temptation
Jesus, my brother, one who was appointed elder in a family of brothers, designed by God to lead the tribe -- not of your own choosing, but of the will of God. Jesus you are my brother, who watches over me always. In this you have gone before me and understand my ways. You have a point of view uniquely different than mine, O Lord. You know that tests are coming and that I shall be tempted to walk in a path that does not honor our Father's name. You say to "count it all joy". I dunno, Lord. I need to meditate on this today. Walk with me, I pray you. Amen
