I think its cool that Jesus asks them are you asking YOURSELF what I meant like it makes no sense if Jesus was the one that was saying all these things shouldn't we ask him, shouldn't we ask the one who said it who knows why he said it what he meant
we a lot of the times do that with God. take something that he said to us or proclaimed over our lives and we ask OURSELVES what HE meant
it says ask and you shall receive
don't be afraid to ask the why or the what do you mean. the king of kings calls us his children take delight in that.
