Encouragement

Luke 22: 34 tells us to be careful or our heart will be weighed down by worries of this world.

This is why it is so important to remain in the truth daily. Gain encouragement from the Lord, through his written promises.

Today as I meditate on God's word, I am led to the following verses:

John 16: 33 In me you will have peace. In this world you will have many troubles, but take heart, I have overcome the world.
(our relationship with Christ will produce peace)

Psalms 46: 1-3 God is our refuge and strength. An ever present help in trouble.
(we need not fear, God produces strength in any circumstance)

Isaiah 41: 10 Do not fear, I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God.I will strengthen and help you.

2 Tim 1: 7 God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and self-discipline.

Psalm 55: 22 Cast your burdens on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.

My prayer- Heavenly Father, I came to you tonight in need of strength! The troubles of this world had me down, but you had just what I needed to get up again :) Thank you for your encouragement and strength as I medItated on your promIses! I'm grateful for your spirit that prompted me to run to you so quIckly.

I lay my burdens down before you tonight! Thank you for lifting the heavy weight and giving me the strength to endure whatever weight remains! Continue to keep me under your guiding hand. Though I am aware I have free will, I have no desire to live a life without your daily counsel!
