it is friday so in the city where i live the Street Pastors will be going out into an environment where drunkenness (not merely "alcohol" but "the abuse of alcohol") is the de facto religion of the worldly people. i am not a Street Pastor so do not know the names of the people who will be out there. But they have to be committed to get through some quite rigorous training before being allowed to go out in uniform. Can we please pray for them all wherever in the world they practice. And for the people they will meet. Even the apostle Paul in his letters asked for prayer. Thank you.
