The golden Lampstand was one piece hammered out of solid gold. The Lampstand represents the unity of the Church. We should take special care to maintain this unity. The Holy Spirit holds unity in high regard.
The attitudes that maintain and grow unity. Treat others with:
Humility.
Gentleness.
Patience in suffering.
Bearing with one another in love.
The purpose of the lamp stand, and the Church, is to shine light. We should do this without complaint so that we can be an example for all others. We are called to shine as a light to the world.
We must continue to be a light like Jesus. After all, if we call Him our Master we should be living a life that imitates His. How can others see Jesus if not through us?
