Marriage

"...that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,' [and] 'for this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'? 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let NO ONE separate." (Matt 19)

Two truths come from this scripture, 1) God created man and woman, not man and man or woman and woman; and when He created man and woman, He created them to be joined as one. 2) The two will be joined with a bond so strong that nobody can separate them.

The problem with marriages today is the cement that holds a relationship together has never been truly applied. That cement is God and the Word of God. God initially put 1 man and 1 woman together, and it's the Word of God that gives instruction and direction on how to keep that bond strong and together. Keeping the Bible alive in you keeps your marriage alive in the world, and keeping your praying knees ready keeps your marriage ready for any obstacle.

My prayer for my marriage and other marriages is that God stays first in us and for strength and prosperity in my marriage; for a love so strong nothing can break it.
