What a decision!

Wow, what a powerful verse! It really is shame that many followers take for granted God.

Sometimes, we just don't think and many times, if you agree, we speak or do something without thinking.

Yeah, I know, I been there many times. Unfortunately once to often.

So what am I doing? Sowing, yep very simple I am sowing and one day, if not now, but in the future I will reap what I have sown whether good or bad.

One of the things that seems to escape us is the fact God, as the verse tells us, is not mocked. He can't be fooled and He already knows before hand what route we may chose as we walk this earth, yet in our flaw conditions, it sometimes seems as we just can't get it together.

An example in what I think fits is what Abraham did, not once but as the scripture tells us, twice. He persuaded Sarah to lie to protect his own skin and say that she is my sister.

Wow, just think about that, aren't we similar? Here is a man who trusted in God, yet when he felt his life was in danger, he rather foretell a lie and forget about the God who would have protected him.

Yeah, I know, you may think it does not fit. Right you may be but think about it. You go along trusting in God, than when something goes out of control, than who is God or maybe I can twist or bend some of Gods rules, it won't hurt anyone and I can always seek forgiveness from Him at a later date.

Wrong and right. What do I mean by that? Yes God will forgive you once you confess, but as David learned from his affair with Bathsheba, he had to pay the consequences for his actions, remember reaping and sowing? He reaped what he sowed.

Here is what I am getting at. In your walk with God, you still need to make decisions. Whether to do all you can to stay on the path God has set forth, even though you will fall every now or than, or take Him for granted, bend some of His rules and sometimes walk in your own ways thinking that what someone does not know won't hurt any one.

The fact is, someone always gets hurt, even the Lord! He knows what is in your hearts and the motives behind them. Where we can fool people with our goody good attitude ,making them think we are more than what we really are, "Oh he is such a good Christian," but in reality thinking in our own minds how we want to be portrayed by others though we know we are bending Gods rules to fit us, but we can't fool God.

So the decisions is yours and mine to make. Work hard to keep, obey and follow Gods word, and reap good things, or continue to play the game, acting as if we are something we are not and reap bad things.

As for me, though I have had trouble in my walk lately, I still want to do all I can to follow and obey Gods way. I can't run or hide from Him so why should I try.

As the Army saying says, "Be all you can be," The way i phrase it, "Be all that God wants me to be."

So examine your life, what decisions are you making? Because remember you can't run or hide from the Lord! You will reap what you sow. It always comes back on you! Will be rewards or consequences.

The decision is yours and mine to make.

Amen
