The Significance of a Word

If thoughts are an expression of what an individual feels. Without words are the ability to express our thoughts we will become frustrated. In the beginning was a WORD! Nothing can form or begin without a word.

I. The Tossing
- There will always be a tossing in our lives. In the midst of obedience there will still be opposition.

II. The Test
- God will speak to us in the middle of a storm. Sometimes we become afraid and can't identify the things of God, but we've got to have faith to know whether the test is one of God or the devil. We've got to remember r thing that God did on yesterday! He will speak to your faith because He knows there is fear. Whenever you hear a word it immediately has the power to produce peace, protection, and prosperity. God is saying to us, "You need to know who I am!"
We need to see the power of "I am!" The only way to stand on what everyone else has been sinking in is by a word; you've got to have a word to stand on! Sometimes you've got to take that leap of faith out of the "ships" (friendships, relationships, etc.) in order to see God and what He has for us. When we find ourselves sinking we got to cry out "Lord, save me!" Have faith! The teacher will say a word before then they don't talk during the test, have faith in what you know of God!

III. The Testimony
- The reason we go through the testing an the tossing is so that we will have a testimony. The spirit of God will lift up a straggler! He said he will be your shield!
