Walk into the STORM with faith!

We can walk into the storm with faith, knowing Jesus is with us.

When the storm came upon Peter, he chose to step out in faith, rather than giving in to fear. The winds/waves were too high and the boat was too fragile!! As the storm was getting worse the disciples feared for their lives! Peter too was about to give up, but he looked into the storm and saw Jesus walking on water in the midst of the storm.

Matthew 14:29 Jesus said "Come"

So Peter climbed over the sIde of the boat and walked on water towards Jesus. The storm was horrifying!! Peter's vIsIon got clouded as waves crashed over hIm.. he started to get nervous and thought "Jesus is just too far away to save me!!"

But, just as he was about to sink...Jesus reached out hIs hand and caught Peter...

He said to him..
(Matthew 14:31) "You of little faith, why did you doubt me?"

Then they climbed back on the boat and the storm stopped! All the disciples began praising the Lord after they witnessed this miraculous event!

Prayer- Heavenly Father, Thank you for teaching me so much through your word. This story reveals such Truth!!! So many times, I have stepped out in faith as you say, "come!".. when the world said, "Don't go, you fool!"..

I fInally learned how to say, "lead me my king! I follow you anywhere!".. I never know what the future holds for me in those moments.. and though, many times, the thIngs you ask me to do are the complete opposite from what I would normally do, but I still go, because I trust you with all I am!

Thank you for removing the junk that used to cloud my vIsIon, in storms.. You have taught me to see you clearly no matter what the weather conditions!! And that is all I ever wanted.

In you, I had the courage to go against the world!

So thank you for doing exactly what I knew you would, in time... bringing me safely back on board and calming the storm in my life! I'm In constant AWE by you! Forever yours, KV
