ALL CHRISTIANS
As the body of Christ, we should all be of one mind. We are to love each other as though we were all members of the same family....brothers and sisters. We are to sympathize with each other, be tenderhearted, and stay humble!! No one needs to get a big head about anything!! We are nothing without Christ. God tells us not to repay evil for evil or retaliate with insults when they are thrown at you. He wants us to pay those people back with a blessing. That's a tough order. I can guarantee that I have trouble with that! When someone is hurling insults and false accusations my way, blessing them is the last thing on my mind! Yet, that is what the Lord tells me I am suppose to do. I have to believe that if He tells me to do it, then He will give me the strength to "retrain" my reactions so that I don't repay evil for evil. What a difference we would make in the world if all christians could get this passage deep into their souls (myself included!). If unbelievers saw us taking care of each other, loving each other, and reapying evil & insults with blessings, they'd want to know what was going on!! I believe that seeing christians behave in this manner would also make them want to be a part of the family!!
