(Godly Habits for Good Success pt. 2)
Success is not a habit, but Godly habits will create success.
If we are going to be like Christ we need to make it a habit of lifting others. Don't burn no bridges because sometimes you may need to cross again. The devil is always busy; you may take a day off and need rest but he doesn't. When people are down they are powerless. People are not down because they want to be if they could help themselves they wouldn't be down in the first place. If you don't feel bad about sinning that means the spirit of God is not working on you. If you can't get to that level of conviction it is time to pray!!
HOW JESUS LIFTS PEOPLE:
I. Define Their Person
- Address people as they really are, not according to the things they've done or gone through. You are what God says you are and He says that you are the head and not the tail.
II. Declare Their Pardon
- Whom The Lord loves He chases. He does not sit back waiting for you to mess up, God wants you to be great. Do not dwell in your wrong doing, ask for His forgiveness & continue to be great.
III. Disclose Their Purpose
- We cannot wait around for God to show us everything. Go! Seek! If you will just make yourself available to God, He will make you able.
IV. Demonstrate Their Potential
- Go & sin no more. Things and habits aren't problems because you don't like them they're a problem because you like them. Find what is keeping you from doing that right thing!
YOUR MESS WILL BE YOUR MESSAGE YOUR REST WILL BE YOUR TESTIMONY TO LIFT SOMEONE ELSE UP!!! SEE WHAT GOD HAS IN STORE FOR YOUR LIFE!!
