He'll Do It Again
Life has many challenges along the way. We often compare our journey to valleys, mountains, & mountain tops. I can definitely tell you, that I've walked through plenty of valleys & faced many a mountain.
Each time I come face to face with a mountain, satan doesn't miss an opportunity to fill my head with his doom! There's no way that I can ever pay this. We have no place to go & no one that's willing to help. What am I going to do? There's no food in the house & I have no money to get any. What am I going to tell my kids? Regardless of what the mountain is that's in front of you right now, I'm certain that it's not the first mountain that's been standing in your path! So, why do I even listen to Satans stupid lies? Each mountain is different & our human side becomes afraid. Listening to the doubts satan places in our heads feeds that fear. It's our job to speak to the fear, & speak to satan using the Word of God! Remind satan & yourself of the many mountains God has helped you climb already that should have been impossible!! Tell him & yourself about the mountains God moved out of the way!!
David told Saul that God had delivered him from lions & bears & that He would deliver him again from this philistine!!!! God needs us to remember what He's done for us & what He's done for others!! He's promised that He will never leave us or forsake us!! That means whether I'm in the valley, climbing an impossible mountain, facing cancer, a child on drugs, alcohol, a broken marriage.....whatever it may be; sit down & look at all He's done for you! Look at Moses, David, Daniel, the 3 Hebrew boys, ........& know deep in your heart that HE'LL DO IT AGAIN!!!!
Dear Lord, my heart is broken & everything's in a million pieces. It looks like this is the end. There's no way this can be fixed! But Lord, You are the way maker! You've brought me through before! I've seen You heal people, save people that everyone had given up on & so much more. Just like You made a way for Moses, David, Daniel & so many more; I know You'll do it again for me!
