Eliphaze brings the truth.
Isn't that always how it goes down? Here we find Job feeling sorry for himself and even though he never curses God, he curses his birth. Than of course, we see this always, his wife urges him to curse God and die. I believe that she was mourning the death of her kids, and in doing so, she blamed God and her husband. We see that in grief even people who don't ever believe in God, still blame him when tragedy hits.
Now here we see a friend come into the picture here. He, I believe, ,ones to encourage Job because it is believed that this man may have gone through his own tragedy and trusted in the Lord. We do know that Demons visited this man and tried to scare him into believing in the paranormal. He talks about it when he says that, and im paraphrasing, I was sound asleep and fear came over him, a spirit flew by him, and all the hairs on his head stood up. The spirit stopped, he couldn't tell what it is. He says that something stood in front of him. Now this could not be an angel from or of the Lord cuz as you read it you will see that he or this spirit is kicking God.
So this man went through his experience with not only loss but with doubt. I believe this man was upright and wanted to help his fellow brother in the Lord.
