romans 16:17-18
17 now i beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
18 for they that are such serve not our lord jesus christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
psalm 119:11
11 thy word have i hid in my heart, that i might not sin against thee.
it is also good to have the word hidden in there so if someone does try to pull the wool over your eyes you have the word of the lord. the word is truth. god is true. god does not lie.
