Dig again. God will make room for you.

Isaac had suffered disappointment, setback and discouragement. Everything that could go wrong had gone wrong. He had done all he knew he to do. Yet it seemed success had eluded him. Life will sometimes throw setbacks, disappointments and discouragement at you. What you do when such times come is critical to success. Do you allow your setbacks and the like to stop you? Or do you keep pressing on. God had instructed him to stay in that land. You would have expected that because he was in the " will of God" for his life, everything should go according to plan and there should be no opposition or disappointments. But the land that had milk and honey also had giants. Isaac faced the giants of discouragement, disappointment and setback. But he conquered them. How? He did not quit even when the easiest thing to do was quit. He dug again.

To succeed or achieve anything worthwhile or significant you must persist till you win. There are no "free lunches" anywhere as far as it has to do with success. You are not going to get something for nothing. To win in life you must be bold, strong, courageous and have a never say die attitude. An attitude or disposition that never gives up. An old cliche has it that " if you try the first time and you don't succeed. Try again.

Isaac had God on his side. He was in that land because God told him to stay in the land. God on your side does not make you immune to challenges and obstacles. God on your side however guarantees that you will triumph or overcome. You have to " fight" to possess your possession. It's a fight of faith. And in this fight God is committed to you winning or triumphing. But you must be courageous to persist till you win.

Don't quit. Don't turn back. Don't give up. Yes there are obstacles and some are so large it looks like you will not reach the promised land. It looks like the more you try to make things work, the more things are not working. Many times He dug a well and many times they stopped the wells. But he could not be stopped. He dug again. He kept on keeping on. He kept digging. Finally God made room or you. I see God making room for you. It's always too early to quit. If God has not quit, surely you should not quit.

Yes you may have submitted many job applications without success. Dig again. Submit another. God will make room for you. You may have tried many times to have that baby and still not had one. Dig again. Try again and God will make room for you. Tried your hands at making that marriage work but ended up frustrated. Dig again. God will make room for you. You have prayed for that breakthrough yet the breakthrough has not come. Dig again. Pray again. God will make room for you. You may have tried many times and failed. Dig again. Try again. God will make room for you. Failures are people that would have succeeded but they quit just before they succeeded.

Be like Isaac. Be a finisher. If you hold on till the end you will win. Persist till you win. God is with you, for you and in you. So power, grace and anointing to succeed is on your side. Champions are people who refused to quit and because they refuse to quit on their dreams and expectations, God made room for them. If you do not let your setbacks stop you, God will prepare a comeback for you. If you do not let the disappointments stop you, God will set you up for an appointment with success. But you must dig again. Dig again and God will make room for you.
