The things that accompany salvation.

- Hebrews 6:9 (NLT)
There are things that accompany salvation and there are things that don't accompany salvation. Accept the things that accompany salvation and reject the things that do not accompany salvation, yet struggle to cling to you.
Salvation has fringe benefits. You were saved the moment you accepted Jesus Christ as your LORD and Saviour. Yet it does not stop there. Redemption from the power of darkness also follows salvation. You are redeemed from every curse once you receive salvation. Divine health also accompanies salvation. Where sickness once reigned it cannot reign anymore because the power of sickness over your life has been destroyed. Where lack and scarcity once thrived they can thrive no more because abundant life accompanies salvation. Struggle, barreness, depression and oppression no more reign. Ease, fruitfulness, joy, peace and goodness now reign.
These things have been taken away and nailed to the cross. Ease, prosperity, power, joy, fruitfulness, good things, goodness, peace in every way now reign supreme. Satan and darkness no longer rule over your life because you are no longer part of his kingdom. You have a new king and ruler now and He is the LORD God. A new king is now on the throne of your life. The old king - Satan has been dethroned and so his goods have no place in your life.
Actively reject anything that is not part of the things that accompany salvation. If it is not good it is not God. If it is of God it will be good. If it is right, gives you joy and peace it is of God, for the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. Accept the good. Reject the not good. Rather than passively accept and say "that is how God wants it" or say " it is the will of God", say no to it and refuse to settle for it. Probably makes you cry or feel sad. Surely it can't be God. And if it is not from God it is not part of your salvation package. Reject it with everything you have got.
Refuse that, poverty, barrenness or sickness should cling to you. Do not give the devil parking space to park in your life or leave his unwanted baggage in your life. These are not the things that accompany salvation. Adam and Eve lived a life of ease and peace till they sinned and life became a struggle and frustration. Now that the second Adam- Christ has taken away sin, you ought to be living a life of ease and peace like Adam was living before the fall.
Say no to whatever is not part of the things that accompany salvation and it shall be so. God will not do that part for you. Don't settle for less than the things that accompany salvation. Reject failure. Say no to barrenness. It is not part of the things that accompany salvation. Don't allow Satan to put on you what God has not put on you. He said my burden is light and my yoke is easy. It is the devil that oppresses, puts heavy yokes and comes to steal, kill and destroy.
There are good things that accompany salvation in Christ. Say yes to those things and say no to the works of darkness. The works or goods of darkness are not part of the things that accompany salvation. Reject them.
