God is refining us...in the furnace we become beautiful for his glory, and mailable for His service.
In the furnace the excesses, the ties to the world, the love of the temporal etc are all stripped away, so that our purpose becomes stedfast, our focus becomes clear and undivided ...
But, we are not alone in the furnace. Just as it was for the three in the book of Daniel, God stands with us.
