Holiness
The Lord is reminding His people of what he said in the wilderness - don't follow what your ancestors did, walk in my laws, honour the sabbaths. The sabbath rest is a sign between God and his people so that they may know God.
He looks ahead to a time when he will bring His people into his presence onto the holy mountain and he will accept their praises. He will bring them to him because he loves them.
