Isaiah 1-5 Paying dues

God likes to reward accordingly, he will enable a righteous man who has worked for his wealth to enjoy that wealth,, more so he will avt like insurance and protect that wealth... This goes to show how even enjoying our success is God given,, the philosopher in the book of Ecc. mentions this fact in several verses. We may have much money, but we may even not enjoy that wealth..
Similarly those who are proud will be punished like those in Judah according to Isaiah. God hates conceit as it is idol worship (of self): not relying on God's abilities but ones own,, it is so easy to get to conceit when a nation has become blessed hint (US.),, God says such a nation will be governed by immature boys,, like some of our leaders who seem to be setting bad examples for us,, also that such a nation will cease to be productive economically,, etc.
In Isaiah 1 God says it is not our sacred rituals he wants (so that we can justify that we did something in order to deserv forgiveness) but our hearts. Solomon in proverbs says a woman who commits adultery would take a bath n say, iv done nothing wrong.. The act of cleaning herself does not remove her sinful nature, and similarly it is not only by regularly attendin Church or by giving that we are cleansed but by actual inner desire to change,, that is what God wants from us,, our hearts,, I implore us all to give them up,,
