Motivation?
Paul points out that those men who had come to the Galatians trying to convince them that if they wanted to serve Christ they must submit to the Jewish law eg circumcision, we're motivated to do so by the desire to have superiority.
I wonder how often such motivation can be seen in the Church? In my own life? Where we need to see ourselves as superior- to feel significant/ important- so we seek out positions of authority.
LORD, help me to find my significance in my relationship with you alone, and let my motivation be to Your glorification and not my own.
