An Attitude of Gratitude

Pastor Bradford Layton

If there is one sin that is most common today that is ingratitude. Thankfulness is not confined to a day or season.

I. The Position of All
- Why is it that many of us are coming to church every time the doors open but yet we are still so far from God? If The Lord has done anything for you, you ought to let the redeemer so. You may be in an inapproachable position, but where the law says man cannot go, The Lord can. When we are so far from Him, He is ALWAYS so close to us. We serve a Compassionate Savior. Many of us turn out noses up at people that have made us mad, that are unlike us, or hold on to things that we feel they have done to us and forget about the compassion our God shows us after all that we've done to Him.

II. The Prayer of All
- Your blessings lie in obedience. We must not ever be weary in well doing. What doesn't make sense to us makes perfect sense to God!

III. The Praise of One
- Despite everything we've been through we just need to say "Thank you." We must fall down our face and give God thanks even when others won't praise Him, because your gratitude should never be based on your neighbors gratitude.
