God is seeking a man
A man not a people. A man who will believe God in spite of the odds. A man like David who would dare believe God when everybody else is scared, doubtful and intimidated by the Goliath of opposition. A man like Abraham who will not consider the impossibility of situation but consider the God with whom all things are possible and is faithful to keep ALL his promises. God is seeking for a man like Daniel who will despise and disobey the king's law that he should not serve God. A man like Mordecai who will stand for God in a tough surrounding and not compromise God's law.
God is seeking for a young man or woman like Joseph who will look at sin and compromise in the face and say- how can i sin against God. God is seeking for a man. One man who will wake up at night and pray for the church, country and community. God is seeking for a man that will be a battle axe in His hands to push backwards the kingdom and the works of darkness.
God always seeks a man to achieve or fulfill divine purpose or agenda. Will you make yourself available ? Stop running with the crowd. Stop being a number or a face in the crowd. Step out front and be counted. Step out of the crowd and say to God- here I am. Step up and stand out and say to God- if you can use anything LORD, use me. God is seeking a man or woman. He is not seeking a people. He is seeking for a man who will like Abraham stand in the gap and build a spiritual hedge of prayer to ward of the attacks of darkness directed towards church.
One man's faith is enough for God. If you will be "crazy" enough to believe God, He can and will do great things for and with you. As it was in those days, so it is today. God is seeking a man. Will you be that man or woman ? Will you be the Nehemiah of your generation who will make himself or herself available to rebuild the broken down walls ? Will you be that Moses of your generation to be used of God to deliver Israel from Egypt. Will you be the Samson, Deborah, Elijah, Elisha, Paul, Dorcas or Joseph of your generation ?
Stop looking at your ability and concentrate on your availability. Take care of the availability part and God will take care of the ability part. Supply the availability and God will supply the ability. Better to be available and unable than able and unavailable. If you are available God will ensure that you are able. God is still seeking a man. Are you that man or woman God can use. Are you that boy or girl that can be a battle axe in the hands of God? The world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. Until the children of light begin to take their position as sons the world will still be subject to decay, corruption and be shackled by the works of darkness. Children of light? It's time to grow up. As you mature into sons, God can do more for you and with you. As you mature into sons, God will commit more responsibility and ability into your hands. You are the man or woman God is seeking to bring change, deliverance and hope to your dying and desperate world.
Seeking is used for earnest looking for a thing. It speaks of unflinching commitment. The way you would look for a $1 bill if it was lost is not the same manner you will look for a $100 bill if it got lost. You would seek for a $100 bill because of the value and importance attached to it compared to a $1 bill. You would seek for a $100 bill but look for a $1 bill. It's not the same. More energy, desire and commitment is expended when seeking a $100 bill compared to a $1 bill.
You are the " David", God is looking for. Bold, courageous and crazy enough to believe that God is able to fell the mighty opposition before Israel. A man in a boy's skin with enough faith to accomplish the impossible at a time when the army generals and strategists are faithless and running scared. God is seeking for a girl like Mary who will not argue or doubt the promise of God even when it looks impossible. By faith she accepts the word spoken to her by the angel and says - let it be unto me as it was spoken by the mouth of the LORD. If you will be that man or woman by making yourself available, God will accomplish great and mighty things with you.
