God s call for repentance,
- Isaiah 22:1 (GNT)
- Isaiah 22:2 (GNT)
- Isaiah 22:3 (GNT)
- Isaiah 22:4 (GNT)
- Isaiah 22:5 (GNT)
- Isaiah 22:12 (GNT)
- Isaiah 22:13 (GNT)
- Isaiah 22:14 (GNT)
Isiah 22.14 mentions how God finds it detestable, that after instilling punitive measures on Jerusalem, they are not remorseful or sorry, they instead celebrate because, according to vs13, they will be dead by tommorrow anyway..
Reminds me of the slogan, YOLO by Dreezy, You Only Live Once, so one might as well enjoy ones life, indulge in their passions before that privilege is taken away by death.
Our society is veering farther away from the jntended message God is trying to tell us through all the current occurences happening,, terrorism, calamities, war, discrimination. Like Jerusalem which suddenly was attacked and mauled by all the surrounding territories, America is experiencing a similar situation, politically, economically and socially, God has withdrawn some of his support, oh what a horrible place to stand,,, but the God of love is calling us to repent yet %nstead, we do the contrary tenfold knowing the opportunity wont present itself again,,,
My fellow brethren, let us heed the voice of God. Amen.
