God is building something
God does not save you and abandon you. He saves you and takes you and starts a work of building your life. He takes you and starts the process of building your life and turning you into something glorious. Salvation is the beginning but not the end. At salvation or the point you accept Him as LORD He starts a work in your life. He starts to build something once you turn your life to Him. God is the master builder. He turns waste to gold. He is able to turn waste to diamond even more precious than diamond or pearls.
God is the builder of your life and He does not build nonsense. He is the master builder. He can turn the worst to the excellent. Only God can turn a sinner to a saint. Only God can turn a pauper to a prince. God alone can turn one tormented by the devil to a devil tormentor. He is able to turn the pursued to the pursuer. He rebuilds the burned or broken down walls of our lives. As in the days of Nehemiah, God is still able to build the broken down or burned down walls of our lives.
A physical building when it is being built and not yet completed does not look attractive. Yet the builder does not quit or stop work. He continues at it because He has a plan that he is sticking to. The building does not look at itself and begins to complain to the builder. The building must be patient with the builder even when work looks like it is moving at a slow pace or is halted temporarily. The building may look unattractive at the very stage of laying the skeleton or carcass, the foundations etc. People passing by may even hiss and comment that the building is ugly or dirty. They say so because the building is not yet completed. All those wagging their heads and tongues at the building don't know what the builder knows and they have not seen the builders plan for the building.
Your life right now may look far from beautiful. It is because the builder has not finished. God is the builder of your life. God does not build with thrash and He does not build thrash. So,things may look far from beautiful or glorious in your life. It is because the builder of your life has not finished His work in your life. Let all the people talking about you continue. Soon the master builder of your life will silence the critics and their criticism. They don't know God's plan for your life. They are ignorant of what God is doing in and with you.
You are God's temple. His building. His dwelling place. How on earth or in heaven can anyone imagine that God will abandon His dwelling place. God is the builder. You are His building. He is building your life. His work in your life is not yet complete but it will be, for God does not abandon project. He has a plan for you. A good plan. Yes you may look or appear far from the finished product, but work has not stopped and the builder has not stopped work on your life.
You are God's project and God never abandons project. Worry not. Complain not. Grumble not against God and say not to Him - what are you building? The building does not argue with the builder. The axe does not argue with the one that wields the axe. The creation does not argue with the creator. The made does not quarrel with the maker. It will be foolhardy to do so. Be patient with God. He is building something and He has not finished yet. Give Him the waste places of your life. He will rebuild them. That's why He is the skilled and wise Potter. You are His building. He is building something. He will finish the building. Soon you and your world will see.
