Self-Deceived

The Sermon on the Mount confronts deep heart issues.

God has warned us as about false teachers and now he's warning us about deceiving ourselves.

Deceitful- to be intentionally dishonest about something.
Self-deceived- to lack critical self awareness.

Am I justified by myself or am I justified by the Word of God?

It requires a daily denial of self. It's self righteousness when we think our own plans are the best.

Conversion without conviction
Regeneration without repentance=

False claim of relationship

Lord- term of respect and honor, being in submission to a master or ruler over you

Follower- one who does the will of his master

Am I walking in obedience to your will????

False claim of ministry

False assurance of salvation

Knew- to know with favor

A Christian is defined in a certain way, we must walk in that.

How can we have assurance if salvation?
Romans 8:16. " the spirit Himself testifies together with our own spirit, assuring us that we are children of God.

Does He know you?
Is he Lord of your life?
