The LORD is not slow
God is not slack (slow ). That is what the scriptures say. When God makes you a promise you and because of our human nature want the promise fulfilled yesterday or now. When we don't see the fulfillment of the scripture, it appears or more appropriately the enemy whispers continually to your head that God is slow. He is not. The scripture say that " the LORD is not slack concerning His promise".
What has God promised you that you have yet to see the manifestation? Remember He is not slow concerning His promise to you. The promise has lingered. It has delayed. It has taken a while to come. Not important. The LORD is not slack. The manifestation or the fulfillment of the promise will happen. Ignore the voices that are telling you that God is slow. Pay no attention to the voices in your head trying to reason or figure out how or when He will do it or why has He not done it. The LORD is not slack. He is faithful always and in all ways.
He is not slack in the manner that men count slackness. He is not willing that the situation get the better of you. It's not His will or plan that the problem triumph over you. It's not His will that the situation overcome or defeat you. Don't think or imagine how He will come or when He will come. It only adds more stress, pressure and tension to you. If God has promised, He will keep the promise. He is a covenant ( promise) keeper. His promises never fail. The word of God is His covenant with you. The word of God is a sure word of prophecy. It cannot fail. The covenant never fails.
If His promise to you is that He would deliver you, then rest assured that He will deliver you. If He has said He will help you, you can be sure He will help you. God has spoken concerning your situation.and because He has spoken, the process of fulfilling the promise has started. It may take days, weeks, months or even years but the promise of God to you will not fail. He is not willing that any should perish. You will not perish in that situation. It is IMPOSSIBLE for that to happen.
If you have received a promise from God, hold tight to it and don't let go. God will establish or cause to manifest the word or promise He has made to you. What has He promised you? God is not slow. He is not slack. He is not weak. Men get weak and weary but God never grows weak or weary. Men may not fulfill their promise to you but God always fulfills His promise. Reject the lie of the devil that God is doing nothing or is slow about bringing your dream or promise to pass. That kind of thinking can kill you faith and abort your miracle. Doubt, anxiety, unbelief can dent your faith and stop your miracle. Stop thinking how or when will God do it. The miracle shall manifest " like a thief in the night". It may not happen in spectacular fashion but it will happen.
Tell yourself - the LORD is not slack. Talk to yourself- my miracle will come and I will wait till God brings it to come and in His own time too. Stop looking at your watch or calendar. It does not matter how long the condition has been. It is irrelevant how long you have waited. What's important is that you will get the breakthrough you have prayed and waited for. And get it you will. There will always be a waiting period between when God makes the promise and when He brings the promise to pass. Hold on till the promise comes to pass and it will.
