evil ones know the bible and god too
acts 19:13-15
13 then certain of the vagabond jews, exorcists, took upon then to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the lord jesus, saying, we adjure you by jesus whom paul preacheth.
14 and there were seven sons of one sceva, a jew, and a chief of the priests, which did so.
15 and the evil spirit answered and said, jesus i know, and paul i know, but are ye?
all we have to do is believe to be saved. repent, abhor evil and cling to good. seek the face of god. these evil spirits, including satan himself, have seen him do his works on earth from the beginning. yet they are gong to hell. eventually satan will bow to god and say jesus is lord.
make sure your fruit is there. ye shall know them by their fruit. read god's word and hide it in your heart. the devil can be tricky because he can quote the bible all day. but only to lead you astray. pray for understanding of god's word before you read. thank him after for giving you eyes to see and ears to hear.
