Ensuring God's Glory
Genesis 14:23 NLT
"that I will not take so much as a single thread or sandal thong from what belongs to you. Otherwise you might say, ‘I am the one who made Abram rich.’
Abram's concern here is that only God would be credited for any wealth, victory, or blessing he has received. Lord, help me to be always mindful of your glorification. Without you, I have nothing. Without you I can achieve nothing. You and you alone are worthy of the glory.
