Isaiah 1:15,18 "When you lift up your hands in prayer, I will not look. Though you offer many prayers, I will not listen,for your hands are covered with the blood of innocent victims......“Come now, let’s settle this,”says the Lord.“Though your sins are like scarlet,I will make them as white as snow.Though they are red like crimson,I will make them as white as wool.

We might pray, but God does not always listen. He wants us to repent (180 degree turn) and seek Him! God is a God of love but He knows the inner most thoughts of our hearts and will not be fooled. He knows when my prayers are sincere and when they are just lip service.

Often when I pray I get intimidated. I am talking to the God that made the heavens and the earth!! The God who knows more about me than I do!! Yet He calls me friend (John 15:15) Who can compare to our God?
