Gods annointed King
It is not clear to me if these verses are meant to refer to King David or if they are a Prophecy concerning Jesus Christ the Son of God. He is called the annointed one, leading me to believe this Chapter is talking about the Messiah, though David was also annointed King by Samuel. However, taking into account that Psalm 22 uses language that speaks of The Christ as well as King David, Psalm 2 could be more of the same. Its very interesting!
