Suffering is a powerful testimony

Matthew 26:63-64
But Jesus kept silent. Then the high priest said to Him, “By the living God I place You under oath: tell us if You are the Messiah, the Son of God! ”
“You have said it,” Jesus told him. “But I tell you, in the future you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of the Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

Jesus is asked a question that He had answered on many occasions during His ministry. Jesus had not only told them this before but also had performed many miracles as evidential support for His claim (Jn 10:24-30). Even with all the proof backing His claim they still refused to believe Him. This demonstrated the Jew's hardness of heart and their unwillingness to believe. Because of their refusal to believe Jesus was executed.

I will never go through exactly what Jesus did, but many similarities might happen. I might be proclaiming the gospel and those to whom I preach may refuse to believe no matter how much evidence I give. This might even lead to my being executed. Should that happen GOD will give me strength and He will be glorified just as He was at Jesus' death. In seeing that death many became believers (Matt 27:54) and I pray the same would happen should I have to suffer.

GOD of glory and righteousness there is none like You. From everlasting to everlasting You are GOD. Please forgive me when I fear suffering for You. Please give me strength that I may suffer well for You so that You may be glorified and that many may come to know You. I need You to give me strength and wisdom as I could never do this on my own. GOD please teach me how to live a surrendered life. All glory be Yours forever in the name of Jesus - amen.
