Israel goes through similar Seasons we Christians go through,, After coming across such a cycle again in the scripture,, I have realized that is something other than mere coincidence,
As it turns out, when our needs are been fully met, we become preoccupied with what God has given, take it forgranted and eventually steer away from him,, Other times while we may live for God, our spiritual growth stagnates; contrary to what God desires for us,,,perhaps the reason why Solomon in Pro. 30:9 said to God to not give him too much that he may be tempted to walk away from him,,,
And out of God's Storge love for us, he understands out human hearts and controls our abundance to keep as disciplined as a parent would a child WHOM HE/SHE LOVES (Proverbs..3:12),, like he did for Israel, And just like it was a season for Israel, so it is for us, moreover, once the season of grief passes, those who endure emerge spiritually stronger in their belief and commitment to Christ that it becomes even more difficult to be steered away from him by the next big thing and thus there comes almost no need for us to go through another grief period again.. I am in that season right now and I can personally testify that I have rediscovered God and grown much closer to him than ever before,,So brethren,, whatever you are going through Take Heart, God sees you, and he is so much closer than you think..Its only for a season
