A life impacted by the Gospel

God has given us all,we need to live a godly and fruitful life as we draw upon the example of Christ and recognize and accept what He has done for us at the cross, as well as begin to apply His teachings to our daily life. Acceptance of Christ as Saviour and Lord frees us the enslavement of sin and the deception of the world, and the lusts of the flesh ( though we will still feel their pull we will be able to recognize them for what they are, and with the empowering of the Holy Spirit overcome them).
But our Spiritual walk must be more than running from temptation. For there is a time to take up the shield of faith and protect ourselves from the enemies onslaught but there is also a time-clothed in God's armor to hold forth the sword and storm the gate. We need to be constantly growing in our relationship with God, growing in our character and growing in our impact upon the world and those who have been placed about us.
