Promised protection for Gods ppl
Scripture- Balaam says to Balak's messengers, "Even if Barak were to give me his Palace filled with gold, I would be powerless to do anything against the Lord's command"
This statement is used so that all the world would know that everyone is helpless to harm God's people against God’s will.
Lesson:
The Lord will only allow things that will teach us necessary lessons and things that will later be used for his glory.
