Lack of Understanding & Wisdom
"Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment." - Job 32:9
This actually seems to be the case with the majority of world leaders, bankers and corporations. Presidents and politicians lie, bankers commit fraud, and corporations keep the salaries of their workers as low as possible while they reap tremendous profits.
These are the elitist of the world. These are the wealthy minority. Yet, these are some of the most foolish individuals because they have made money and power their God and have abandoned Jesus and His Word.
Godly Wisdom
Psalm 111:10 reads: "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: ..."
It is respect for the Lord and and His Word that leads to true wisdom and understanding. When someone has that respect, that fear, of the Lord; then He is ready for the Lord to guide Him in the right direction. Also, he will follow the Word of the Lord. In that way, one gains true wisdom and understanding from the Lord.
